Introduction:

The overflow ball mill belongs to high-end equipment, as core equipment commonly used in mineral processing production line, the main function of the equipment is grinding. It has main advantage of high precision, large production capacity, which is highly recongoized by customers and can create striking economic benefits for the user, the working principle and characteristics of the equipment are as follows.

Working principle:

Main bearing is key part of overflow ball mill, enough lubrication shall be cared and generally adapting thin oil concentrated circulation lubrication. The lubricant oil flow through the pump into main bearing and transmission bearing and discharged to the drainage pipe and then flow back to the tank .For medium and small ball mill, it can be lubricated by ring drop oil or solid lubricant. Some mining plant are equipped with automatic alarm device to ensure the reliability of lubrication. The overflow ball mill is supported on the main bearing through the hollow shaft at both ends. Because the gear transmission can produce axial force, one hollow shaft neck is designed with two shoulder, the distance between the shoulder is exactly equal to the length of the bush, so as to prevent the occurrence of axial movement, the other hollow shaft neck does not have shoulder, and its length is 5-25mm longer than the length of the bearing bush. When the cylinder is heated and stretched or bent due to load, it can freely expand and contract within a certain range.


Advantage:

Compared with the grid ball mill, the overflow mill has no fan-shaped grid plate device in the discharging part, and the hollow shaft diameter of the ore discharging end is larger than the ore feeding end, so a certain height difference is formed between the ore pulp surface of feeding end and the ore discharging end, which makes the ore pulp flows to discharging end automatically, so it is called the overflow ball mill. Due to the grinding material is discharged through the overflow way, the long grinding duration makes the particle size finer eg. -0.1mm or -0.074mm.Generally in the grinding process, the grid ball mill is used in the first phase and overflow mill is used in the second phase of fine grinding.
