New Best Industrial, one of the major carbon, stainless and alloy steel wire products manufacturers in Taiwan, has announced its operating income in the first quarter of this year totaled NT$79 million, jumping from NT$31 million in a quarter ago.

Meanwhile, its gross sales profit rate in the first quarter was at 12.47%, soaring substantially from 1.24% in the fourth quarter.

For the prospect, New Best said that since the company has already completed its second quarter order collection, its sales in the first half of this year should be able to stay firm.
